Laredo Punchless in 12-0 Loss to Gulls Friday, July 14th , 2051 In a seemingly effortless performance, Pete Ferguson of the Atlantic City Gulls shot down the Laredo Gators 12-0 on a 2-hit shutout. "Pete was just locating so well and using his pitches," Atlantic City manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Ferguson recorded 12 strikeouts and 5 walks in a strong outing.
