Astros Need Extra Innings to Top Warhounds, 5-4
The Houston Astros wiggled past the Carolina Warhounds, 5-4, at War Hounds Ballpark. The win was highlighted by the performance of Houston pitcher Tokutomi Nakayama. Earning his 1st save for Houston was Pete Samson. The win lifted the Houston record to 20-16.

Chris Martínez, the 27-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Martínez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Houston up, 5-4.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Martínez.
