Warhounds Stymie Miami, Take 3-1 Win
|
Carolina Warhounds starter Walt Pérez was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Miami Marlins, 3-1. The last-place Marlins have lost 4 straight games.
Carolina shortstop Lewis Frobel had a key at-bat for the Warhounds in the top of the second inning. Facing right-hander Gabriel Camacho, Frobel hit a 2-run home run. It put Carolina in front, 3-0. For the day, Frobel went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Pérez.
