Braves Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Indians
|
Atlanta Braves starter Kosaku Ono pitched his team past the Cleveland Indians, 6-1. With the win, Atlanta pushed its record to 27-27.
Atlanta took a 4-1 lead on Ray Boyer's 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Boyer hit in the top of the seventh, left Cleveland pitcher Mike Farr shaking his head.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Ono told the Atlanta Herald.
