Rockies Cut Down Expos, 6-1
|
The Colorado Rockies got a stellar effort from pitcher Mark Priday, helping Colorado score a win over the visiting Montreal Expos, 6-1. The Rockies, at 28-27, have now won 4 straight.
Colorado took a 6-1 lead on Kokei Kobayashi's 5th triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which Kobayashi hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Montreal pitcher Fred Wright visibly frustrated.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Colorado manager Justin Buzzotta.
