Royals Win 3-2 Walk-Off
|
Kansas City pitcher Ronald Coleman did his part in helping his team beat the Washington Nationals, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win puts Kansas City at 31-26 this season.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Kansas City shortstop Koji Omori, facing Jeffery Paige, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Royals the 3-2 win.
Coleman said his team "played with determination."
