Cervantes Hits 2 home runs in Twins Win
The Minnesota Twins trumped the Chicago Cubs, 10-7, at Wrigley Field. Minnesota shortstop Jamal Cervantes was terrific. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Minnesota reliever Manuel Ramírez was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Jesse Robinson. The win puts Minnesota at 36-23 this season.

Minnesota needed the clutch hitting of Geoffrey Foster to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Twins on top, 8-7. For the game, Foster had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I still think this team can play even better," Cervantes told the Minnesota Daily News.
