Dascenzo Slugs Astros to 10-5 Win
The Houston Astros trumped the Toronto Blue Jays, 10-5, at Rogers Centre. Houston first baseman Cal Dascenzo was terrific. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Houston raised its record to 32-32 with the win.

Houston used the clutch hitting of Pablo Martínez to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Astros the lead, 6-4. For the game, Martínez had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Martínez told the Houston Daily News. "But we take nothing for granted."
