Summers Now 9-5 After Subduing Mariners

Washington and Seattle duked it out and the Nationals came out victorious.
Washington rode a fine outing from starter Henry Summers to victory over the Seattle Mariners at Mariner Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. Washington goes to 58-27. The win puts them 16½ games up in their division.
