Martin, Angels Wallop Braves, 10-2
|
The Los Angeles Angels thumped the Atlanta Braves, 10-2, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Craig Martin was a big reason his team got the win. Martin went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The win puts Los Angeles at 49-37 this season.
Martin in the bottom of the fifth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Angels leading 4-2, he hit a grand slam home run.
"I wish every win came this easy," said Martin.
