5 hits in a game is generally considered a noteworthy achievement, but for José Guillén, it felt rather hollow.

The 30-year-old went 5-for-6 at the plate at New Yankee Stadium today, but his New York Yankees fell to the Milwaukee Brewers, 16-11.

"It's hard to get too excited," the first baseman told BNN following the game. "After a game like this, everyone's quiet and they just want to go home."

José Guillén hit a solo-shot off Joey Simons in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Richard Powell in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.

So far in 2070 Guillén is batting .287 with 15 home runs, 52 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 345 at-bats and a .337 OBP.
