Giants Earn 2-1 Win Against Rays
|
In a low-scoring contest, San Francisco pitcher Travis White was marvelous in his team's 2-1 win. Ryan Roberge, now 2-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The victory gives the Giants a record of 47-41.
The Giants procured the win, in large part because of catcher John Trevenot. In the bottom of the 14th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," White said.
