The Chicago Cubs picked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the Seattle Mariners, 5-0. Starting pitcher Dennis Cain played a key role in the triumph. Jemi Hudson recorded the save, his 1st. The Cubs sport a record of 34-54.
Cain delivered a quality start for Chicago. The 6' 3" left-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
