Tampa Bay Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a win at Tropicana Field, taking down the Oakland Athletics, 5-4. Starting pitcher Ron Reith was a big reason why. Tampa Bay reliever Ben Nicholson was credited with the win, to go to 3-1. Ju-il Kae took the loss for Oakland. The victory gives the Rays a record of 50-48.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Tampa Bay first baseman Jorge Baca, facing Ju-il Kae, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Rays the 5-4 win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Reith said.
