Michael Gutiérrez knocked in 4 runs to help Texas beat Colorado, 7-6. Gutiérrez produced 2 singles and 2 home runs. A.J Klein was credited with the save for Texas, his 27th of the season. The win for the Rangers raised their record to 71-32.

Texas used a clutch hit from Noburo Oike to get the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Gutiérrez, "but we got it done."
