Behind the hitting of Ricardo Pérez, the New York Mets stopped the Chicago White Sox, 4-3. Pérez went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Mets. The White Sox, at 41-66, have lost 4 straight games.
