Dodgers Win, 7-3, at St. Louis
|
Bradley Richards impressed in the 7-3 Los Angeles win over St. Louis. Richards, who is a two-time All-Star, went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Earning the save was Tim Hayes. He's now cashed in 3 of 3 save opportunities. The victory gives Los Angeles a record of 63-50.
Richards contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Los Angeles in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-0, Richards took a forkball from Kenny Jacobs and stroked the home run to left-center. His 34th home run of the season allowed the Dodgers to leap in front, 4-3.
