Late Rally by Blue Jays Secures 5-4 Win
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Blue Jays beat the Brewers.

The Toronto Blue Jays knocked off the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4, at Rogers Centre. Paul Robertson was a big reason Toronto won. The second baseman was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win belongs to José Hernández in relief. His record improves to 5-7. Richard Powell took the loss for Milwaukee. Lou Markakis notched his 19th save in 23 chances.

Toronto took a 5-4 lead on Mels Isabekian's 14th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Isabekian hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Milwaukee pitcher Richard Powell visibly frustrated.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Milwaukee manager John Healy.

Toronto has now won 6 straight.
