Indians Lose, 8-2, at Kauffman Stadium
|
Kansas City rode a fine outing from starter Ronald Coleman to victory over the Cleveland Indians at Kauffman Stadium. The final score was 8-2. Coleman, now 7-4, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Kansas City pushed its record to 74-58.
Dan Heller, who is tied for 6th in the AL in hits with 151, helped out the Kansas City cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
