Twins Turn Back Arizona, 6-4
The Minnesota Twins withstood an impressive performance by Arizona right fielder David Peters to defeat the Diamondbacks, 6-4, at Target Field. Peters was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Minnesota's record now stands at 86-60, placing them second in the American League Central Division.

In the bottom of the sixth, Minnesota second baseman Britt Clark put his team on top. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit his 6th home run of the year. Arizona pitcher Reggie Gijbels served it up. Just like that, the Twins were ahead, 6-4.

"This was a good win for us," said Clark. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
