Nationals Get Hard-Earned Win, Stop Reds, 4-3
The Washington Nationals did just enough to secure a victory over the Cincinnati Reds, 4-3, at Nationals Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Henry Summers. Iván Hernández earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 9-3.
