Phillies Deal Mets 4-2 Defeat

The Philadelphia Phillies picked up a win at Citi Field, knocking off the New York Mets, 4-2. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Bryan Porter, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ids Keijzer earned the save, his 1st, for the Phillies. Philadelphia goes to 1-1.
The Phillies benefited from a costly error in the top of the fourth. With Anthony Mills at bat and Philadelphia leading 1-0, the New York miscue allowed Philadelphia to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"It's a mindset," said Porter. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
