The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Cleveland Indians stopped the Minnesota Twins, 4-3, at Pickard Field. The Indians got a big game from Cheung Fang, who went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Cleveland pitcher Ralph Pace got the win. He's now 1-0. Chad Hurst was tagged with the loss.

Fang had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run double. The Indians went on to win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Fang told the Cleveland Herald.

The win gives Cleveland a record of 2-1.
