Phillies Earn 3-2 Win Versus Reds
|
The Philadelphia Phillies had to overcome a good performance from Cincinnati pitcher Randolph Waddington to claim a 3-2 win at Citizens Bank Park. Waddington went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Philadelphia reliever Ids Keijzer picked up the win to move to 2-0. Ernesto Zavala suffered the loss. The loss drops Cincinnati to 6-4.
Anthony Mills was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Phillies catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It was a good effort all around," said Mills.
