Rangers Valenzuela Out Rest Of Season Sunday, August 5th , 2068 Claudio Valenzuela is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Texas organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5 months with a torn labrum. The 34-year-old shortstop suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the San Diego Padres. Currently Valenzuela is hitting .276 and has collected 6 home runs, 48 RBIs and scored 54 times, while playing in 80 games. |
