Hernández Wins Award for NL Dominance
Saturday, November 2nd, 2052
2052 was a year to remember for Jesús Hernández.
The Carolina Warhounds starting pitcher was the owner of a 2.30 ERA this season over 113.1 innings of work. He made 44 relief appearances and had 3 saves, 163 strikeouts, 25 walks and a record of 8 wins and 2 losses.
He's also now got some hardware, as the 29-year-old has been named the National League Reliever of the Year Award winner.
"It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said.
Doug Rollins of the Atlanta Braves finished second in voting, while Henry Watson of the Philadelphia Phillies finished third.
