Brooks Tosses Shutout Against Boston Sunday, April 26th, 2048 The Houston Astros shut out the Boston Red Sox 6-0 today behind the strong pitching of Robert Brooks. Brooks surrendered only 5 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 4. Following the last out, Brooks appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Boston manager Derek Bobola, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Brooks's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Red Sox skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Astros press conference, Brooks confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
