Richmond-Bowie Fight Results in Suspensions Monday, May 25th , 2071 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Richmond-Bowie contest at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. The Flying Squirrels Kichisaburo Murakami and the Bay Sox Bob Nelson will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Murakami is batting .386 with 3 home runs. He has scored 11 runs and driven in 11. This year Nelson has earned 1 save, worked 22 innings, fanned 26 hitters and recorded a 10.23 ERA. He has also put up a 0-2 won-lost mark. |
