Southern League Selects July's Best Batter Friday, August 1st , 2070 For a rookie just breaking in, Chris William certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SL Batter of the Month award for July. The 21-year-old right fielder for the Chattanooga Lookouts hit .409 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This year William is batting .393 with 46 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 26 times and has batted in 26 runs. |
