League Suspends Compton and Poole for Brawl Friday, July 10th , 2071 Dennis Compton of the Mobile Bay Bears and Chris Poole of the Birmingham Barons received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 5 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Hank Aaron Stadium. A look at his current stats shows Compton with a .247 average, 16 home runs, 46 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has played in 68 games. This season Poole has registered 3 wins and 6 losses in 13 starts with a 3.87 ERA. |
