Yankees Carlton and Blue Jays González Suspended for Fight

Gary Carlton of the Tampa Yankees and Germán González of the Dunedin Blue Jays received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Carlton currently has a .294 batting average with 78 hits, 4 homers, 30 RBIs, 46 runs scored and a .388 OBP.

To date, González has collected no saves in 5 relief appearances. He has rung up 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in 6 innings while registering a 6.00 ERA and a 0-0 won-lost record.
