Friday, July 7th, 2051
Joseph Lee of the Palm Beach Cardinals spun his magic on the Fort Myers Miracle today. He blanked them 14-0 on 6 hits, registering 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Lee said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Palm Beach skipper said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Joseph pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

So far this season, Lee has a 13-1 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 1 relief appearance, logged 125.1 innings and fanned 137 batters while fashioning a 2.51 ERA and allowing the opposition a .239 batting average.
