Ridin' High: Peterson Hits for Cycle Tuesday, May 12th , 2071 Intimidators center fielder Ralph Peterson made big news today in Kannapolis's 10-5 victory over the Columbia Fireflies. He was 4-for-4 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Peterson said later. Ralph Peterson tripled in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Andrew Snyder in the 8th. This year Peterson has socked 32 hits in 100 at-bats for a .320 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .434 pace and his totals also include 22 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
