SOU Premier Pitcher is Kannapolis's Bly Monday, June 1st , 2071 The South Atlantic League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to bullpen specialist Bob Bly of Kannapolis for his outstanding work on the mound. He chalked up a 6-0 record, 12 relief appearances and 2 saves with a 3.09 ERA. Bly pitched 43.2 innings and rang up 46 strikeouts. So far this season Bly is 9-and-0 with 3 saves and a 2.49 ERA. He has given up 45 hits in 76 innings with 81 strikeouts. |
