5-for-6 Day for Pak Monday, July 28th , 2070 State College center fielder Hyun-soo Pak could do no wrong in today's 14-11 win over the Crosscutters as he collected 5 hits. "Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Crosscutters skipper said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts." Pak agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game. "Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Hyun-soo Pak doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. So far this season Pak is batting .345 with 13 home runs. |
