Gulikian Bewilders Ducks in 15-0 Shutout Friday, August 29th , 2070 Baldwin Gulikian handcuffed the Long Island Ducks at Centennial Field today, coming away with a 3-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the Vermont Lake Monsters right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Gulikian had little trouble with the Ducks and led the Lake Monsters to victory, 15-0. He recorded 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance. Gulikian has posted a 5-4 record for the year with a 4.42 ERA. Teams are hitting .243 against him and he has rung up 102 strikeouts in 91.2 innings. |
