González Tosses Shutout Against Batavia Saturday, June 6th , 2071 Oneonta Red Dragons hurler Martín González logged a 4-hit, complete game shutout over the Muckdogs, stopping them 2-0 at Dwyer Stadium today. "I felt great out there," González said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 4 strikeouts and gave up 5 walks in the performance. To date this year, González shows a 4-5 record, 11 starts, 76.1 innings, 58 strikeouts and a 4.95 ERA. |
