Hendrickson Parks 3 for Kingsport Tuesday, June 30th , 2071 Carl Hendrickson went the distance three times in the Kingsport-Missoula tilt at Hunter Wright Stadium today, but the Mets lost, 11-10. "Gosh, it's a shame we didn't win this game," Hendrickson said later. For the day, the Kingsport first baseman went 3-for-5 against Missoula with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting. "I was in a groove and every pitch they tossed up there looked like a basketball," he said. "I tell you what, I was surprised because I didn't think the last ball had enough to get out. I thought it was just going to be a long out." Carl Hendrickson grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Francisco González in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Eduardo Lozano in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off José Robles in the 9th. In 2071 Hendrickson has hit at a .412 clip with 7 hits, 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and has scored 6 times. |
