Indians Lose, 4-1, at Globe Life Park in Arlington
|
The Texas Rangers rode a solid performance from 26-year-old starting pitcher Friedrich George to a win, beating the Cleveland Indians, 4-1, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The Rangers sit in third place in the American League West Division with a record of 37-38.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from first baseman Nick Pratto. For the game, Pratto went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Texas a 2-1 lead.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Rangers manager Dave Lowitzki.
