White Sox Double Up Indians, 6-3
|
The Chicago White Sox defeated the Cleveland Indians, 6-3. Doing his part was left fielder Danny Villarreal, who was 4 for 4 with 3 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Tim Johnson, credited with the win, is now 4-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. Chicago is now 51-56.
Andres Perez's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh was significant, coming with runners on 1st and 2nd and the game tied, 2-2. The Chicago right fielder hit a run-scoring single off Carlos Adame to put the White Sox up.
