Broncos Win Continental Semifinals
The Westland Broncos didn't hold back their excitement after beating the Brussels Screaming Eagles in the Continental Semifinals tonight.

Members of the team rushed onto the field and celebrated joyously when the victory became official, with a 5-4 win moving the club on to the Continental Championship, clinching a 4-2 series win in front of the Brussels Field crowd.

"This isn't the big one, but of course we need to get through this before we can win a Meridian Championship, so it's an important step," said Wenceel Perez as he took a break from celebrating. "Our guys are happy and excited to be moving on."

Perez was named series MVP, as he hit .433 with a .469 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 6 runs.

On the other side of the diamond, there was desolation. Many members of the Screaming Eagles sat stone-faced in their dugouts, simply watching Westland celebrate.

The Westland Broncos don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the France Bombers - Italy Black Cats series. France leads the series 3 games to 2. The Continental Championship schedule will be announced after the Continental Semifinals finishes.
