Gone with the Win: Career Record Falls to Perez
Thursday, February 26th , 2032
Another game over and another win for long-time star Franklin E. Perez. But this was not just any game -- it was victory number 9, a cherished and much-coveted number. That made the Venezuela pitcher the greatest winner in baseball history, topping the all-time wins mark of Tomoyuki Sugano.
"I have been blessed to play with a bunch of talented players over the years who played a big part in my record," Perez said after the game. "I didn't do it alone. I thank them all very much."
