Mekhi Lias Lost for Season Wednesday, July 28th , 2032 The San Francisco Giants were dealt a severe blow when Mekhi Lias was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. After the game, the team trainer reported Lias might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 34-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a damaged elbow ligament. They indicated it would take Lias at least 9-10 months to heal.
