The Sacramento College Lawmen topped the Anaheim College Chinooks by a score of 14-13. Leading the way was catcher Jeff Boyle. Boyle belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Lawmen. Sacramento College reliever Nathan Mangin picked up the win, upping his record to 2-10. Brian Legrow shouldered the loss. With the win, the Lawmen have a record of 12-20.

The Lawmen procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Tom Gamblin. In the bottom of the ninth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Boyle.
