Snappers Come Back Late to Top Federals, 4-2
The Bakersfield College Snappers knocked off the Wichita College Federals, 4-2, at Field of the Federals. Rudy Ulrich was a big reason Bakersfield College won. The second baseman was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The winner in relief was Lonnie Markle. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-3. Methushelach Abramczyk, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save.
