The Long Beach College Cherokees went down to defeat to Gary Huntingford and his Edmonton College teammates. The final score was 5-0 in favor of the Cheetahs. Edmonton College has now won 4 games in a row.

The Cheetahs got a big at-bat from left fielder Clayton Adams. For the game, Adams was 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the seventh, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 45th hit of the season gave Edmonton College a 1-0 lead.
