Lara Lifts Earthquakes to 9-1 Triumph
Behind a fine performance from Josh Lara, the Lincoln College Earthquakes knocked off the Wichita College Federals, 9-1. Lara was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Earthquakes. Lincoln College pitcher Jared Walters got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Carl Seguin got the loss. The Earthquakes improved to 24-33.

Lara brought the fans to their feet in the bottom of the first, when the 19-year old center fielder ripped a 2-run home run. The round-tripper put Lincoln College ahead, 2-0.

"Nice win for us," said Lara. "Now we'll go after the next one."
