Tight Tilt Goes to Tomcats, 3-2
|
Oakland College Tomcats starter Joe Aastrom turned in a top-notch performance against the Portland College Hammerheads at Ballpark of Oakland College. The result was a win for the Tomcats, 3-2. The Hammerheads fall to 5-7 and continue their lackluster start in 2025.
In the bottom of the third inning, third baseman Mike Hayward came through big-time for the Tomcats. With Oakland College trailing 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
After the game, Oakland College manager Marcus Geiger applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
