Sun Cats Turn Back Salt Lake City College, 5-3

The Regina College Sun Cats handed the Salt Lake City College Red Foxes a loss at Regina College Grounds. The final score was 5-3. Eric MacLean was named player of the game for Regina College. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. Guy Graves picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Ricky Bent was tagged with the loss. The Sun Cats go to 24-31, putting them 18th in the Joe Piscapo.
MacLean contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Regina College get the win.
"We take it day by day here," said MacLean, "and today was a good one for us."
