Earthquakes Sneak Past Blue Hens, 5-4
The Gwangju HS Earthquakes topped the Melbourne HS Blue Hens, 5-4, in Conway & Korman action at Gwangju HS Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Gwangju HS pitcher and Boston, Massachusetts, native Victor Spencer. John Robertson notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The win gives Gwangju HS a season record of 10-10.

In the bottom of the 11th, Ralph Caldwell had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring single to center off Melbourne HS pitcher Aaron Irwin.
